Guido F. Sacchi

Dr. Guido F. Sacchi is a recognized leader in Information Technology and delivery of business value from IT, with a unique combination of strategic thinking and focus on results. He is currently Sr. EVP and CIO of Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN), a leading worldwide provider of payment technology and software solutions. His responsibilities include IT and digital business strategies, worldwide technology infrastructure and operations management, application development and support, information security, customer experience, project portfolio management, platform integration, analytics and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Sacchi is a frequent speaker and magazine contributor on the topics of technology management, payments and financial technologies, leadership, innovation and organizational change. Dr. Sacchi is the previous Chairman of the Georgia CIO Leadership Association and served on the Technology Association of Georgia's Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed) Board of Directors. He was recognized as one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders in 2008 and as the 2004 GCLA National CIO of the Year, in addition to receiving multiple awards for excellence in technology management. Dr. Sacchi is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta’s Class of 2008.
