What services are covered by this Service+?
With Service+, you're eligible for a free technician visit (covering faults that are not related to the terminal including, for example, problems with your internet service) once per quarter per location — at no added cost.
Your Global Payments terminals are also protected in the event of theft, loss and damage, whereby we will replace your stolen, lost or damaged terminals at no cost. This could save your business €500 in fees if your terminals are stolen, damaged or lost. You may report up to one (1) incident of theft, loss or damage per calendar year.

What is the fee for Service+?
The annual fee of Service+ depends on the number of terminals per location.
- Locations with up to 2 terminals: €60 per year
- Locations with up to 4 terminals: €120 per year
- Locations with 5 or more terminals: €180 annually

What are the most common examples of damage to POS terminals?
Water spills are a common example of damage that can occur to POS terminals if they are not adequately protected from liquids. Damage caused by customers is another common example.

I have many POS terminals. Is every device covered?
Yes, Service+ covers all of your Global Payments POS terminals. If you have various terminals at one location, the option that covers five or more terminals is right for you. It provides protection for an unlimited number of terminals at one location. If multiple terminals are stolen or damaged at that location at the same time, or if you lose multiple terminals at the same time, you are covered.
If you have four terminals, the option that covers a maximum of four terminals protects all four terminals. If all four terminals are stolen at the same time, all four of these terminals are protected.

You can report one case per year.

How can I report damage, loss or theft of a terminal?
Service+ is associated with the POS terminals that you have from Global Payments, You can report directly on this page using the form above.
Once your report is confirmed by us, a new terminal will be provided to you by Global Payments and you will not have to pay the penalty fee for the damaged/lost/stolen terminal.

How do I cancel Service+?
You may cancel Service+ by sending a cancellation notice to Global Payments to [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation of the cancellation from Global Payments by email. Once cancellation is confirmed, Service+ coverage will expire at the end of your paid annual contract period.
Your covered POS terminals will remain protected from theft, loss or damage until your contract expires. Your service visit from a Global Payments technician once per quarter will also remain in effect until your contract ends.
After your contract period ends, you will no longer be covered by Service+. If you require a service visit from a technician, a fee will be charged. If your Global Payments POS terminal is lost, damaged or stolen, a fee of €500 will be assessed.
