Yes, it is safe. When you create a single-use link or a QR code, it’ll take customers to a secure payments page where they can enter their card details. Every transaction through a link should request to be authenticated using Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), which we provide, to give you and your customers peace of mind.
Our links and QR codes can be shared on a wide range of channels. You can add them to an invoice, email, text, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger or iMessage — even digital ads, printed brochures and lots more.
There are two ways you can create a payment link or QR code: in the Pay by Link app or by logging into your online Merchant Management system. Just enter key payment details, such as the preset amount you need to charge in the invoice. Then simply share the link with your customer.
