Yes, it is safe. When you create a single-use link or a QR code, it’ll take customers to a secure payments page where they can enter their card details. Every transaction through a link should request to be authenticated using Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), which we provide, to give you and your customers peace of mind.

How do I send payment links?
Our links and QR codes can be shared on a wide range of channels. You can add them to an invoice, email, text, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger or iMessage — even digital ads, printed brochures and lots more.

How do I generate payment links?
There are two ways you can create a payment link or QR code: in the Pay by Link app or by logging into your online Merchant Management system. Just enter key payment details, such as the preset amount you need to charge in the invoice. Then simply share the link with your customer.

Do I need a website to use Pay by Link?
No. It’s one of the big benefits of using Pay by Link. All you need is an internet-enabled device, like a phone, tablet or laptop where you can log in to your account and send links.

Can I keep track of transactions?
Yes, it’s easy to view and track orders in real time. You can also cancel payments, update settings and even send receipts through Pay by Link. To see all your transactions, just log in to your account online.

Can I use Pay by Link to connect with a customer for their payment?
Yes, you can. There’s an option in your account to schedule or send notifications reminding customers when their payments are due.

Can I customise emails or invoices sent with Pay by Link?
Yes. You can add your own branding to make Pay by Link match the rest of your payment experience. You can also set how long you want a link to stay live before it expires.

Do I have to apply online or can I speak to someone?
No, applying online is there for your convenience. If you'd like, you can seak to our Global Payments team who can talk you through your options.
*If you apply directly with Worldpay Ecommerce, you will be entered into and maintain a separate contract with Worldpay, a Global Payments company. Under the contracts with Worldpay, transaction charges and other fees will apply.
