Diversity
Diversity means we recognize and value all differences. Race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status or background. All the things that make each of us who we are.
Equity
Equity is the fair treatment, access and advancement we provide to ensure team members have what they need to thrive.
Inclusion
Inclusion for us means being a company where everyone knows they can bring their full, authentic selves to work—and thrive. You show up for us, we show up for you.
More inclusive. More diverse. More equitable.
We are passionate about supporting the cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds of our 24,000 team members. Our differences unite us as a business.
Powered by our differences
“Championing DEI benefits for everyone. It makes us a better business—more alert to empathy, problem-solving, and innovation. All traits we thrive on.”
Cameron Bready, President and COO
Building a diverse culture
Our people reflect the diversity of the markets we serve. We believe it’s central to our success.
We have local sales offices and operational support in 38 countries—and 16 native languages. Enabling local, global, and multinational perspectives for our customers in over 100 countries.
Strength through difference
We seek to champion diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across every region and business unit of our company, every day. We’re weaving it into the fabric of our company.

Advancing black team members
Our Onyx Network brings together black team members to build a more inclusive environment. We celebrate cultural differences and spread awareness of the opportunities and issues facing the black community.

Empowering LGBTQIA+ team members
We support the professional development of LGBTQIA+ team members through our Global Payments Pride Network. This helps us recruit and retain more great colleagues, and builds a valuable community for our LGBTQIA+ people.

Advocating for Spanish, Latin and Hispanic team members
Somos is a culturally and racially diverse collective of Spanish, Latin and Hispanic team members and allies. We elevate one another and help Global Payments navigate how we expand our footprint to create a more diverse marketplace.

Investing in veteran team members
Our Veteran's Network recognizes the unique sacrifices of our veterans and their families—through inclusion and hiring, by fostering connections among veteran team members and by supporting veteran-related organizations and events.

Elevating women in payments
We offer networking, volunteering and professional development opportunities for women through the Global Payments Women’s Network.
We’re also proud sponsors of the Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions, a professional organization for the advancement of women in payments.
Empowering diversity in communities
In partnership with our Onyx Network, we match community donations up to $2,000 for every team member, every year, through our Social Justice and Equality Fund matching program.
Supplier inclusion–at the heart of our procurement strategy
We're committed to a diverse supply chain and support the purchases of goods and services from diverse businesses—those owned by minorities, women, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled individuals, veterans, and small enterprises.
We are driven by our mission to strengthen the economic growth and expansion of the diverse businesses and communities we serve.
We actively support and participate with advocacy agencies in the development, and certification of diverse companies, including membership in:
- Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
- National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
- National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)

Diversity in our DNA
Diversity, equity and inclusion—it’s part of our DNA, guiding our thinking and reflected in our actions. We know we can only change the world if everyone’s included.
We formally launched our diversity, equity and inclusion initiative in 2018. This included signing up for the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion™—a CEO-driven commitment to advance these practices in the workplace.
“We are fortunate to be part of an organization that stands against racism, intolerance and injustice in all its forms—one that respects, honors, and celebrates the diversity of our team members and the differences among us.”

“You can have the most diverse workforce in the world, but if your team members do not feel seen, valued, respected, and included in the success of the company, it will limit your ability to succeed. With an inclusive and diverse workforce, the possibilities are endless.”
